Instructions on how to update:

Via the Internet

Connect / Ensure connection of known working Ethernet cable into AXSIS Scanner
Contact Reality Interactive at (800) 600-0336

Via a USB flash drive (.exe method)

*NOTE: We recommend using a name brand such as SanDisk, PNY, or Transcend

Insert a USB flash drive into your PC. Ensure all files/folders are removed off of it before proceeding.
Click on the above Download link (“Axsis_v▮.▮.▮▮.exe”)
The download link will bring you to a new web-page – Click “Download” in the top left of this page. Do not save this to your USB flash drive.
1. Once complete, double click the .exe file to run
If you see this pop up, select "More info"Select "Run anyway"
A new window will pop up with a location. Select the "..." on the right of the window
1. Navigate to your USB flash drive and click on it to highlight it
2. Hit "OK"
You will see your USB flash drive location in the box. Hit "Extract"
The .exe will extract its contents to your USB flash drive. Do not cancel or close out of the window. The download will complete on its own and will close out the window for you.
Your USB flash drive will now have the 2 necessary folders in it
Turn/Ensure on your AXSIS Scanner.
Plug your USB flash drive into the BLUE“USB-2 Connection” (shown below)
1. If you ordered a stand, this will be located inside the stand, attached to the AXSIS Scanner.
2. AXSIS Scanner Ports/Connections:
The USB flash drive will automatically update your AXSIS Scanner. Wait for the GREEN pop up notification to occur before proceeding. This may take several minutes.
Remove your USB flash drive.
Reboot your AXSIS Scanner.

Via a USB flash drive (.zip method)

*NOTE: We recommend using a name brand such as SanDisk, PNY, or Transcend

Insert a USB flash drive into your PC. Ensure all files/folders are removed off of it before proceeding.
Click on the above Download link (“Axsis_v▮.▮.▮▮.zip”)
1. Example:
The download link will bring you to a new web-page – Click “Download” in the top left of this page. Do not save this to your USB flash drive.
Unzip/Open the downloaded zip file and you will see 2 folders (named ‘APK Files’ and ‘RI’)
Hold “Ctrl” button on your keyboard and Left-click both folders. This will highlight both folders blue. Release the “Ctrl” button. Both folders should remain highlighted with blue.
Right-click on either folder and select “Copy”
Navigate to your USB flash drive on your PC and ensure there is nothing on it. If there are files and/or folders on the USB drive, delete/move them all off of it.
Select your USB flash drive, right-click in it and select “Paste” to paste the 2 folders you copied into the root of the USB flash drive.
Ensure your USB flash drive looks like the image below:
Turn/Ensure on your AXSIS Scanner.
Plug your USB flash drive into the BLUE “USB-2 Connection” (shown below)
